Original Sheet Music to "Happy Birthday" Discovered

Someone found the only known original sheet music to "Happy Birthday." It was found in the archives of the Dwight Anderson Memorial Music Library at the University of Louisville and may help solve the song's lengthy and litigious history. The song was created by Mildred and Patty Hill in 1893, but they originally called it "Good Morning to All." Read more about it HERE

'I'M READY!' Spongebob Musical in the Works


Spongebob Squarepants is getting a Broadway makeover. Nickelodeon announced that a Spongebob musical is coming to Chicago and New York City next year. Artists like Aerosmith, John Legend, David Bowie, Cyndi Lauper, Lady Antebellum and The Flaming Lips are all penning songs for the musical.

Zac Efron's Movie Has Third Worst Worldwide Opening in History


Zac Efron's film has the third worst worldwide opening in history. The movie, We Are Your Friends, bombed opening weekend, raking in a meager $1.8 million from the over 2,000 theaters it opened in. Only two films beat Zac to #1, which are Oogieloves in the Big Balloon Adventure and Delgo.

Epix Ends Deal with Netflix. Jumps to Hulu


A day after Netflix announced they are severing ties with Epix, Hulu announced that they have reached a multiyear deal with the video on demand company.  The Hulu-Epix deal starts Oct. 1 and will bring new releases from Lionsgate, MGM and Paramount to Hulu subscribers.  Hulu said the deal involves new titles, library films, and Epix original programming.
