Hidden Painting Underneath Picasso's "The Blue Room"

Scientists and art experts have revealed that they've found a hidden painting under the surface of one of Pablo Picasso's first masterpieces, "The Blue Room," according to an Associated Press report.
Using improved infrared imagery, they discovered a hidden portrait of a bow-tied man with his face resting in his had. The painting was created early in Picasso's career, at a time when, as a poor young artist living in Paris, it wouldn't have been unusual for him to reuse a canvas. Experts had long suspected there might be something under  "The Blue Room," which shows a woman bathing and has been part of The Phillips Collection in Washington since 1927.
Conservators are now trying to find out who the man in the portrait is.
