You’ve heard of the Yuppie? Well, what about the Yummy? Researchers at HSBC suggest that luxury fashion brands should stop targeting middle-aged women, and set their sights on a new demographic - the young urban male, or as they call them the “Yummies.”
According to their research, these Yummies like to show off their status by spending, spending, spending. That may be true, but we just can’t get past that dumb name.
