Study: Men Lie to Appear More Manly

Ladies, next time a guy says our BS-detector is broken, just show them this new study.

The University of Washington found that men will lie to appear more manly. They asked a group of male students if they had weak hand-grip strength, height, ect.... it was eventually found the men continued lying, such as number of past romantic relationships and their athleticism to appear more manly.

Study co-author Benoit Monin noted that women are also under pressure to live up to feminine ideals and can similarly exaggerate their femininity to demonstrate gender norms.

Iggy Azalea Fighting over "Pretty Girls"

Iggy Azalea isn't too thrilled that her collaboration with Britney Spears, "Pretty Girls," flopped. The song barely cracked the top 30 and Iggy says that's all due to lack of promotion and partially due to Britney, who could have hyped it at her Vegas shows. The two performed the song at the Billboard Music Awards, but offered little else in the way of publicity.

Britney has responded to Iggy's attempt to point the finger at her and tweeted, "Can't wait to get back to Vegas. So thankful I have shows for the rest of the year to look forward to...#YouWantAPieceOfMe" The tweet is being read as a diss against Iggy over her cancelled tour.

E.L. James' Twitter Q&A Goes Totally Wrong

What may have been a good idea at the time to connect to fans, whoever thought Twitter was the place to have a question and answer session should have spent a little more time weighing the consequences.

Especially since Twitter is one of the most vocal and public places for criticism.
Obviously, E.L. James' Twitter Q&A went horribly wrong. People accused her of homophobia, misogyny, and romanticizing abusive behavior. #AskELJames was the top trending hashtag in the U.S. for a while and it was number two worldwide.

The L.A. Times estimates that the author is worth around $58 million from Fifty Shades.
