Taco Bell Creates Cream Filled Cap'n Crunch Balls

Taco Bell has created giant Crunch Berries filled with warm milky cream. They want you to put them in your mouth.

Some food experts and foodies have been invited to Taco Bell's mysterious test kitchen to give these colorful creations a try, snapping some photos of gooey cream oozing from the bright pink insides of what are essentially doughnut holes. In fact, these Cap'n Crunch Delights are a riff on the company's Cinnabon Delights, which are cinnamon sugar doughnut holes filled with cream, the food equivalent of biting into a warm, sugar-dusted boil.

Study Shows Cost of after-Work Emails

When work follows you home, it can take a significant toll, researchers say. They looked at a week in the lives of 341 people as they received communications outside of work hours—facing, in the words of Texas A&M researcher Wendy Boswell, "a new night shift." Subjects "became angry when they received a work email or text after they had gone home and that communication was negatively worded or required a lot of the person's time," says Boswell collaborator Marcus Butts, of the University of Texas at Arlington, in a press release.

That was a particular problem when the email came from a supervisor, since workers, seeking approval, "have no course of action other than to acquiesce to their supervisor's demands," MainStreet reports. Such communications especially bothersome for people described as "segmentors"—those who try to keep their work very separate from the rest of their lives.

Lupita Nyong'o's Stolen Oscar Dress Returned... Rumored to be Fake

Lupita Nyong'o's stolen Oscar dress was returned to her because the thief allegedly found out it was worthless. The unidentified culprit told TMZ that he stole the Calvin Klein gown, reported to be worth between $150,000 to $10 million, but returned it by leaving it in a garment bag inside of a garbage bag in the hotel bathroom after getting it appraised. The thief claims he got away with the crime by dropping the dress from the balcony of the hotel room and having his friend pick it up.

  • The thief removed two of the 6,000 pearls from the dress which is how they found out it was a fake. A source close to CK designer Francisco Costa told the website, "Did anyone ever say they were real from Calvin Klein? I always assumed everyone knew they were fake, but I guess not. Do they really make dresses out of real jewels since Cleopatra died?"
  • Lupita told Women's Wear Daily, "I'm happy that it has been potentially recovered. It's a timeless and priceless piece of art."
  • A rep for the clothing brand said in a statement, "All of us at Calvin Klein are thrilled to know that the dress has potentially been located. This was an amazing collaboration between the brand and Lupita and the dress looked truly exquisite on her. Once it's returned to us, we will be able to have the dress restored and archived, as it now represents an important moment for the brand."

Study: Loud Music Damaging the Hearing of Millions

Can you hear me now? The World Health Organization says millions of young people around the world are at risk of hearing loss from loud music. WHO says a review of data from middle- and high-income countries shows that nearly half of 12 to 35-year-olds listen to music at unsafe volumes on their personal audio devices or cellphones. Additionally, about 40 percent of teens and young adults are exposed to damaging levels of sound at nightclubs, bars and sporting events. WHO says volumes above 85 decibels for eight hours or 100 decibels for 15 minutes are unsafe.

Dogs & Most Other Animals Have Very Short-Term Memory

You dog probably already forgot about that treat you just gave him. Animals are known to have two types of memory, short-term and longer-term "specialized" memories. And while animals are known for having excellent specialized memory, memories of specific events tend to disappear in a span "ranging form a few seconds to several minutes." A new analysis of previous studies reveals birds, mammals and bees all have an average short-term memory duration of just 27 seconds. Dogs remember for about two minutes, while chimps' short term memory only lasts 20 seconds, and for rats it's even shorter. Similar studies on humans have shown we can remember comparable information as long as two days. Researchers remark, "We think humans' ability to remember arbitrary events is unique."

Taylor Swift Says She'll Be Single Until She's 30

Taylor Swift thinks that she'll be single until she's 30-years-old. During a recent interview with The Telegraph, Taylor revealed where she sees herself in five years, saying, "I'll probably still be single, let's be honest. No one's going to sign up for this and everything that goes with it. Like, 'Hi, nice to meet you, want a date? Do you love camera flashes? I hope you do!' I don't know what's going to happen if I'm ever content in a relationship — no idea how that's going to work. I don't even know if that's possible with the life I have."

Taylor then spoke of herself in third person and said, "In five years' time she'll be so afraid of everything, she doesn't leave her house. She's just surrounded by cats. So many cats, they've divided themselves up into armies and she wanders around lint-rolling the couch that no one's going to sit on because she's afraid to have people over."

  • And if Taylor finds love, she says, "If that does happen, I think I could find complexity in happiness. I don't think anything's ever simple. Just because you're happy in a relationship doesn't mean that there aren't moments of confusion or frustration or loneliness or sadness. Hopefully, if I ever find some sort of meaningful relationship, I'll be able to still find inspiration, just through the everyday ups and downs.
  • She added, "I used to think it was important to find a boyfriend. But I don't feel that it is now. I just want to have as much fun and as many adventures as possible."

Mumford & Sons Hint Big Announcement Today

Mumford & Sons posted a brief video online late last week of the band in a rehearsal studio, hinting that a big announcement is coming on March 2nd. According to FMQB, the group is most likely to reveal the title and release date of its third studio album. The British quartet has been on hiatus since September 2013, after completing the touring cycle for their mammoth sophomore album, Babel.

Babel debuted at Number One on the Billboard album chart and stayed there for three weeks. The multi-platinum disc was named Album of the Year at the Grammy Awards in February 2013.

  • Babel sold 600,000 copies in its first week of release back in September 2012 and went on to sell more than two million copies.
  • Mumford & Sons stayed largely out of sight during its break, with only frontman Marcus Mumford briefly surfacing to work on the soundtrack for the movie Inside Llewyn Davis.
  • The band is confirmed to headline the 2015 Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival. The 14th annual four-day camping and music festival will be held from June 11th through the 14th in Manchester, Tennessee, 60 miles south of Nashville. Other headliners include Billy Joel, Florence And The Machine, Deadmau5, Robert Plant, My Morning Jacket and many more.

What Age Men and Women Find Each other Most Attractive

What age group do you go after? After analyzing the profiles of daters on OKCupid and OKTrends, researchers have created graphs indicating how our tastes in partners changes as we age. Study leader Christian Rudder says, "Women who are, say, 28 find guys who are also 28 about the most attractive, and so forth. Up until about 40, when that's getting too old." Not surprisingly, the findings reveal men at all ages find women at age 20 most attractive.

To that, Rudder comments, "From the time you're 22 you'll be less hot than a 20-year-old, based on this data. So that's just a thing. It is kind of terrible."
